Refund & Cancellation Policy

Do you offer refunds?

At VoiceToNotes.ai, we incur significant GPU costs to process high-accuracy AI transcriptions the moment you use them. Because of these immediate infrastructure costs:

  • Subscriptions are generally non-refundable: Once a renewal or purchase is processed, the AI resources are allocated to your account.
  • Exception for Technical Faults: If the service failed to work due to a technical error on our end (e.g., downtime or failed transcription), please contact us immediately. We review these on a case-by-case basis.
  • App Store / Play Store: If you purchased via Apple or Google, their refund policies apply directly. We do not have control over their billing systems.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings > Billing page.

  • Effect: Your account will remain on the Pro/Business plan until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, it will revert to the Free plan. No further charges will be applied.

Invoices & Receipts

Can I get a receipt or invoice?

Absolutely. We automate this for your convenience.

  • Automatic Email: Every time a payment is successfully processed, a receipt is sent to your registered email address.
  • Download History: You can download past invoices (PDF format) directly from the user dashboard under Settings > Billing History. These invoices are compliant for tax and reimbursement purposes.

Payment Methods & Security

What types of payment can I use?

We support secure, global payment methods processed via Stripe/Razorpay (depending on your region).

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Rupay.
  • Digital Wallets: Google Pay, Apple Pay (on supported devices).
  • UPI: (If applicable for Indian users) We support all major UPI apps.

How to purchase a subscription without a credit card?

If you do not have a credit card, you can use Debit Cards enabled for international transactions or PayPal (if available in your region). For Enterprise clients, we also support Bank Wire Transfers for annual contracts exceeding $1,000.

Is my payment information safe?

  • Yes. VoiceToNotes.ai does not store your card details. All transactions are encrypted and processed by PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways.

Billing Cycles & Plans

When do charges occur, and when do they renew?

  • Monthly Plans: Charges occur on the same date each month (e.g., if you subscribe on Jan 15th, the next charge is Feb 15th).
  • Annual Plans: You are charged once a year on the anniversary of your subscription.
  • Renewal: All subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default to ensure uninterrupted access to your notes and history. You can disable this in settings.

Can I split the annual bill into monthly payments?

Currently, the Annual Plan offers a significant discount (approx. 20–30% off) because it is a one-time upfront payment.

  • If you prefer to pay in smaller chunks, we recommend the Monthly Plan.
  • Pro Tip: Data shows that 70% of our serious users switch to the Annual plan after month 2 to save money.

Can I split the payment between two cards?

No, our system requires a single payment method for a single subscription transaction. However, you can change your payment method for future renewals at any time.

App vs. Web Subscriptions

Do I need to pay for an additional plan if I subscribed on the App?

No! One account, all devices.

  • If you subscribed via the VoiceToNotes mobile app (iOS/Android), simply log in with the same email address on the Web version. Your Pro features will sync automatically.
  • Note: Ensure you are not creating a duplicate account with a different email.
