If you enable optional Context Awareness features, limited contextual information may be collected to improve transcription accuracy. You can opt out at any time in your settings. Your Customer Content is processed only to deliver the features you request. We do not sell your notes, recordings, or personal content to any third party.

C. Reading and Library Activity (VTN Reads)

When using VTN Reads, we may collect:

• Reading progress and session data.
• Saved collections and bookmarks.
• Genre preferences and reading interests.
• Recently viewed and liked stories.

This helps us personalize your reading experience. Your reading activity remains private unless you choose to share it publicly.

D. Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Services, including:

• IP address and approximate location.
• Browser type, version, and device details.
• Pages visited, session duration, and feature interactions.
• Error logs, crash reports, and performance metrics.

This helps us maintain security, fix bugs, and improve the platform for everyone.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your Customer Content to advertisers.
• We do not use your private recordings or transcripts to train public AI models without your explicit consent.
• Data shared through commercial AI APIs is not used for model training.
• Third-party LLM providers are contractually restricted from using your data for training and must delete it within 30 days.

If you choose to opt in to AI model training to help improve VoiceToNotes features, this will always be clearly disclosed with a separate opt-in control in your account settings. You can enable or disable this at any time.

Analytics

We may use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics to understand how users interact with our Services. To opt out of Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Advertising
